Jordi Labanda

Jordi Labanda, fashion and advertising illustrator, was born in Mercedes (Uruguay).

From the age of three he has lived in Barcelona, although nowadays he lives and works in New York.
He is an internationally recognized artist due to his exclusive style and his numerous collaborations with publications such as Wallpaper, Vogue USA, Vogue Nippon, Visionaire,
The NY Times Sunday Magazine, Fanzine 137, Apartmento and El Magazine de La vanguardia.
Some of his corporative clients are, among others, Moncler, Grand Marnier, Alessi, Zara,Vodafone, Adidas, Pepsi Light, Dior, Neiman Marcus, Knoll Internacional, Target, Danone, Nissan España or American Express. In addition, his work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in Tokyo, Paris, Milan, Buenos Aires and Barcelona. His last exhibition was in February 2011 in the Boutique Colette of Paris.

Jordi’s iconographic silhouettes have been applied to girls’ stationary very successfully and sold inseveral countries for more than 10 years, becoming a “must have” item for thousands of teenagers.

Recently he has launched, together with Ana García-Siñeriz, a collection of children’s books published by Editorial Planeta “La banda de Zoe”

Part of his work has been compiled in books such as the best-seller "Heyday", "Si te he visto no me acuerdo " or the collection "Booklets", all which are published by Editorial RM. More information: www.jordilabanda.com
